Consumers can submit an unambiguous withdrawal declaration here without giving a reason. The service records when it arrived and sends the submitted declaration by email.

Applicability is contract-specific. A 14-day statutory period generally applies to covered distance contracts, but the existence, start, exceptions, consequences of requested early service performance, and any repayment depend on mandatory law and the information supplied at checkout. This page does not declare every request valid or invalid.

How this declaration is handled

We store the submitted identity, contact address, contract reference, optional date or reason, receipt time, and delivery state. The service attempts to send a receipt to you and a copy to the Syntax Studios operator. Do not enter payment credentials or unrelated sensitive data.

Cancellation and withdrawal records are not currently connected to an operator decision queue or to payment and service actions; use the legal-notice contact for follow-up. An exact automated deletion period for these legal records is not yet implemented and must be approved before launch. See the privacy policy.

Declaration data and current handling

Production stores the name, email, contract reference, receipt and delivery state, and timestamps in PostgreSQL. The configured email provider receives the declaration for attempted customer and operator delivery. No staff decision, operator identity, notes, or decision history are currently attached to this withdrawal record.

For rate limiting, the form uses the raw IP string supplied by a trusted proxy in a process-memory bucket for up to one hour; without a trusted proxy header it uses “unknown”. No operator eligibility or decision workflow is connected to the form. An exact automated deletion period is not yet implemented; see the privacy policy.

Service, repayment, and data consequences

A stored declaration does not itself move PayPal funds, stop the runtime, change paid-through, or purge customer data. The current withdrawal form also does not record the related payment, service-end, or data-lifecycle action. Those steps require a separate, evidenced procedure that must be implemented before launch.

The ordinary paid-through plus 30-day final-backup sequence must not be applied mechanically if mandatory withdrawal law requires a different outcome. The production procedure for that distinction, including any amount for requested early performance and the retention of evidence, requires counsel approval before launch.
